This course explores the principles, concepts and theories of, as well as practices in, industrial relations in Malaysia.  The course materials cover all aspects and principles of industrial relations functions, and the major emphasis will be on the application of the principles, tools and techniques for effective industrial relations practice. It’s also discussed the trade disputes that happen between the management and the workman, including common form of action taken by both parties in the trade action.

This course examines the types of leadership theories; issues and challenges in organization’s performance. It will discuss how organization structure, design, human resources policies and practice, culture, work stress, and organizational dynamics relevance to organization effectiveness.
