In this module
students will be equipped with knowledge of basic principles of bacteriology,
virology, mycology, parasitology and immunology including the nature of
pathogenic microorganisms, pathogenesis, laboratory diagnosis, transmission,
prevention and control of diseases common in the country. Students will learn
with the help of lectures, video presentations, group work and laboratory
practical.
