This
course introduces the student to pharmacotherapeutics and pharmaceutical
products in veterinary patients, particularly companion animals. It equips the
student with the knowledge of main diseases affecting companion animals and
safe and effective pharmacotherapy for these medical conditions. Compounding
for veterinary patients and counselling of animal owners are also introduced in
the course.
