This course covers the drug discovery and drug
development process. The students will learn the basic principles of
discovering a new drug molecule. The
drug delivery will be introduced in the later part of the course covering the
development and evaluation of various dosage forms including liquid, semi
solid, solid and miscellaneous dosage forms. These include the characteristics,
ingredients used, production method and quality control of these dosage forms.
