Synopsis:
This course contains some of the basic concepts in general chemistry and some introductory aspects of organic chemistry. General chemistry covers the topics on chemical kinetics, chemical equilibrium, acids, and bases, acid-base equilibria and solubility and ion-complex equilibria. Organic chemistry covers introduction to organic chemistry, hydrocarbon, aromatic compounds, hydroxyl compounds, carbonyl compound, carboxylic compounds and its derivatives and amines.
