This course introduces static and dynamic mechanics. The topics covered for static mechanics are force systems, equilibrium, structural analysis and distributed forces. As for dynamic mechanics, the topics include the kinematics and kinetics of particles, plane kinematics and plane kinetics of rigid bodies. It requires the students that taking this course would have the knowledge to relate all the topics with its applications.
