This unit specifies the elements of an environmental management system and provides the student with guidance on how to establish, implement, maintain or improve an environmental management system in the workplace. A part from that, student will also teach about planning and scheduling, team leader and auditor competence, team composition, how to carry out the audit, how to follow-up audit, keeping record, how to monitor performance and how to report the environmental audit results.
