The course covers the mechanisms of action,
pharmacological effects and the medicinal chemistry of antidiabetic drugs,
antithyroid, oral contraceptive agents, drugs affecting calcium homeostasis,
steroids, drugs for asthma, anti-tussive, anti-ulcer, anti-emetic, laxative,
vitamins and minerals. The pathophysiology of related diseases will also be
discussed.
