The subject is structured to provide students with foundational clinical knowledge and practical skills to effectively manage patients with a wide variety of cardio-respiratory conditions. Particular emphasis is placed on the subjective, objective assessment skills, physiotherapeutic management of these patients and educates patients on the methods of healthcare and prevention of cardio-respiratory diseases. The conditions are studied with reference to theme of importance to physiotherapeutic scope of practice.
