The importance of Organic Chemistry as a basic learning tool for medical, pharmacy, other professionals and engineering is meaningful in preparing for the advanced studies of the medical world. In addition, students are able to apply the concepts in other courses as well in daily life.

This course prepares and equips the student with the knowledge, skills, and attitude to appreciate chemistry. It covers reaction kinetics, acid and base and also organic chemistry.

After successfully completing this course, students would be able to:

CLO1; Apply general concepts and principles associated with kinetics, acid-base, and organic chemistry through their writing work and class presentation.

CLO2; Demonstrate critical thinking through solving problems on how to analyze theoretical chemistry and their application in the field of Allied Sciences.

CLO3; Demonstrate theory of chemistry through creative productions.
