This course will begin with the general histology of various basic animal cell and tissue. Later, the course will emphasize on the concept of homeostasis regulation that occurs in the animal and human body system. The importance of endocrine and nervous system to maintain the homeostasis will be discussed.  Digestive system especially human gastro intestinal tract will be illustrated together with the principals of enzymatic reaction. Principle of removing the waste product such as carbon dioxide associate with oxyhemoglobin dissociation curve and urine associate with the function of nephron will be discussed in respiratory system and excretory system respectively. The major transport system such as heart and basic immunology will be briefly described. The supporting system such as various bone and muscle will be briefly covered in musculoskeletal system. The reproductive anatomy, gametogenesis process, and human early embryonic development will be discussed in reproductive system as well in growth and development. Various teaching approaches and active learning strategies will be used in this course to provide better learning and understanding for the Foundation student. This course will be taken concurrent with Biology lab 2 course.
