This course introduces universal and culture-specific psychological processes, and the mechanisms through which shapes individual psychology. It also discusses how psychological processes are involved in the evolution and transmission of cultural characteristics. Some topics covered are communication across cultures; immigration, acculturation and adaptation; culture and the therapeutic process; working in a multi-cultural context; culture and diversity in the workplace; and political relations.
