In this module
students will learn essential concepts of pathological processes related to
cell injury, inflammation, healing and repair. Attention will be given to
cellular alterations in cases of amyloidosis, calcifications, circulatory and
growth disturbances. This course also emphasizes metabolic and autoimmune
disorders. In addition to lectures and group discussions, laboratory practical
will provide opportunity for students to identify macroscopic and microscopic
specimens illustrating the pathological changes.
